Onto PZC!
Some of you might not know I had to step down from City Council in August because I took a job in the private sector that did not allow me to serve in elected office.
I love my career and I loved serving on City Council, which made this a gut-wrenching decision, not just for me but for my entire family.

I hope it’s clear how much I put serving as Councilwoman. I tried to be present and available as much as possible- because I love serving the Naperville community. This was never about optics for me. I was attending Council meetings long before I sat on the dais.
When I say I’m on “Team Naperville,” I mean it. That’s not just a slogan—it’s who I am.

It was an honor to be part of a process that’s collaborative, thoughtful, and focused on the community. Everything I did was grounded in preparation and fact-checking. I genuinely loved digging into the agenda, asking questions, and spotlighting topics residents might not otherwise hear about.

Which brings me to my next chapter!
While I wish I could still serve you as a Councilwoman, I was approved to serve as a Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC).
My first meeting is October 15, 2025.
